Goat Yoga!
That’s right, I said yoga…with goats! Phoenix has the wonderful opportunity to have some active fun with goats, and even cuddling with alpaca and cows. There are set class times as well as private events, and for those that love the outdoors and animals, this is a great experience. Flying Trapeze?
Yes, you can take flying trapeze classes. While this is not a cheap activity, it is certainly a memorable one. You learn the timing and the technique to get your legs on the bar and your hands off, as well as a backflip dismount into the net. Phoenix Bat Cave
Phoenix in the summer is an especially awesome time because you can visit the local bat cave! From May to October approximately 10,000 to 20,000 bats migrate to Phoenix, Arizona and take daytime naps in a storm drain. You can see them take flight in the evenings and guess what? Salt River Tubing in Tonto National Forest
Tonto National Forest is the fifth-largest national forest, and you can go tubing there! There are several different drop-off points that provide you with different float times and makes for a refreshing change of pace during a hot spring. Yayoi Kusama Firefly Infinity Mirror Room
There’s honestly no description to do this art installation justice. This is an incredibly romantic spot for couples, or just a cool experience to have with friends—either way, whether it’s a sunny or rainy day, this is definitely a must-see. The exhibit is located in the Contemporary Art Wing of the Phoenix Art Museum, just off of North Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix.
Odysea Laser Mirror Maze
A Mission Impossible-themed mirror maze where you have to duck and jump, twist and turn in order to find your way out. This is a fun indoor activity for kids, and also for those adults who want a youthful challenge. There are even some great deals on Groupon you can take advantage of!
Butterfly Wonderland
This is an indoor garden full of beautiful butterflies that you can visit with and take pictures of. Again, wonderful date idea, but also an all-around magical experience. This is right next door to the aquarium as well, so you could make it a day of animal and insect discoveries.

Wonderspaces is an art installation space where fantastical and wondrous pieces make you reimage reality and experience some really dreamy moments. This is an incredibly awesome opportunity to take some super cool pictures and see some unique sights.

MacAlpine's Soda Fountain
This spot has been open since 1938, so it’s got a lot of history. The diner has a traditional menu, including malts, shakes, and a soda fountain bar. It’s an awesome quirky date spot and a niche place for foodies to travel back in time and have some good old fashioned American cuisine.
Fry Bread House
This restaurant was founded and run by all Native-American staff and serves fry bread, a Native-American treat. You can try it in taco form, or with a side of hominy stew or red, spicy pozole. If you want regional food, then this is definitely the place for you. This is a super popular place though, so be prepared for a wait.
Maya Day and Night Club
Clubs are already pretty cool and crazy, but when you add the outside and pools to the mix, it gets even wilder! The Maya club hosts a Vegas-styled pool party here in Phoenix, Arizona with top name entertainers.
